Welcome to Trullo Asinello, our little piece of paradise in the heart of the Itria Valley in Puglia

We are Patrick and Astrid, two lovers of Italy, who after more than twenty years of travelling through Bella Italia have lost their hearts to the south, to Puglia. A region where life is still pure, where people welcome you with open arms and where every meal is a feast of flavours, smells and stories.

During one of our trips we fell in love with the Itria Valley in Puglia. The rolling hills full of olive trees, the authentic villages with culture and of course the magical trulli with their characteristic white pointed roofs. It was clear, we wanted to build something beautiful here. After a long search we found our dream place in Martina Franca. An old trullo, hidden between the greenery, centrally located between all the cultural gems of the region. The past 5 years, we have spent all our holidays restoring this trullo with care and love and creating three atmospheric holiday apartments: two cozy two-person apartments and a spacious four-person apartment. Everything with an eye for detail, comfort and the charm of real Italian life.

Patrick was a baker for many years, Astrid ran her own clothing stores. Now we are changing course. We want our guests to enjoy the life that we embrace here: a place where you can relax, enjoy nature, food, wines, and especially each other.
